Holy damn it Christmas, that's a lot of ectos. Sure, I'll have a run at this. I think I'll use my Warrior as the Doppleganger's opponent. I'm seeing something very much in the style of Baroque in my mind - height of the moment; highly dramatized.

I'll probably post the finished piece sometime around the deadline or earlier.

I see, sorry about the mix up. But are manipulations (like a wallpaper for example) allowed? I highly doubt I would win, not even sure if I'll enter yet from being so busy. =P

I would prefer original artwork please, but the style itself is open to your own interpretation.

Ok so I've looked at the entries so far, and all of them have screenshots in them. I might've missed this in the post but is it requiered to use screenshots? Or can you just draw something too?

I would ideally prefer original artwork, screenshots will be considered but will not be rated as highly as original work.

Would my chances suffer if I were to ignore the background? I have, in the past, used a Corel Painter-generated photopaint of one of my own screenies as a bg but a) technically, only the shot itself is my own work b) it adds several extra steps to the process c) I can't imagine how I'm going to get a screenie inside AR anyway without the Doppel in it and d) I think the piece I'm planning may actually be better off without a bg, as it would draw attention away from the action.

So yeah (they won't be floating or anything, will probably have shadows, just be in a vast expanse of whiteness).

This sounds absolutely fine to me - I will look forward to your entry

Essentially screenshots, which aren't significantly manipulated, are Areanets work. I am looking forward to seeing the work of the artists on this forum.

Okay since I could really use 7 stacks of ecto's (who doesn't ) I'll be entering too.
Do you have any preference for the character that's fighting the doppelganger (like profession and gender)?
